• John Dodgson, Ph.D.

    With 28 patents granted and pending, John Dodgson has a strong track record in IP generation and protection. Since 2004 he has headed BioArts subsidiary RoBio Systems, Ltd. in London, where he develops engineering technology and microfluidic systems for application in embryology and cell biology, including embryo culture, and autonomous instrumentation for transport of biomaterials. Previously, he was Business Development Manager and Technology Director at Central Research Laboratories Ltd. where he proposed, defined and led contract work on new research tools for the life sciences. Dodgson has a BA in Natural Science from Cambridge University, an MSc in solid state devices from University of London, and a Ph.D. in chemical microsensors and systems from Newcastle on Tyne.
